Apthorpe Farm

Apthorpe farm is situated on top of the Great Dividing Range at Hampton, 30km north of Toowoomba in QLD. Our primary products consist of Avocados, Rhubarb, Endive, Squash and Parsley. We purchased the farm back in June 2006 and since then have had a run of bad luck with frosts and flooding, however this has not stopped us producing a quality product.

We decided to diversify in Nov 2007 after we lost our Avocado crop and had to think of ways to supplement our income. We decided to grow Zucchinis as a cash crop and sell them at the Brisbane Markets. A lot of fruit got rejected because it was too bendy so we decided to make a product out of the ones we had left over that would have a long shelf life and would be yummy to eat.

This is how "Apthorpe Farm" Relish came about.

At present we have the following products on offer.

Zucchini Relish, Pumpkin Relish, Tomato Relish, Rhubarb & Chilli Relish, Beetroot & Chilli Relish, Capsicum Relish & Rhubarb Jam.

All come in 200g jars and can also be ordered in 1ltr tubs for Food Service.
